Description

Kaolin clay is a cosmetic clay that has a light and fine texture with great natural absorbency properties. Active compounds include Kaolinite silica, iron, magnesium, calcium, sodium, zinc, and minerals.
Kaolin clay is gentler on the skin than other types of clay and therefore suitable for sensitive skin.
It is gentle on the skin, has natural absorbency properties, stimulate circulation to the skin while gently exfoliating and cleansing it. It is mild so it can be used on dry skin types without negative results. It acts as an absorbent, anti-caking and opacifying agent. It provides abrasive, bulking and colorant properties.
Kaolin clay is great for use in masks, muds, scrubs, facials, as well as both liquid and bar soaps and facial cleansers.
Depending on % used in formulation, this can produce a rose pink, reddish pinkish brown hue.
