Description

Astaxanthin oil 10% contains a high concentration of astaxanthin, and gives an orange reddish stain. The primary carotenoid found in the marine world of algae and aquatic animals. They are responsible for the orange and red colors in plants and algae and the wide range of blue, purple, and reddish colors in aquatic animals. Astaxanthin, often referred to as “the king of antioxidants,” is produced from the microalgae Haematococcus Pluvialis, the richest known natural source of this antioxidant.

Astaxanthin is rich in Carotenoids, also known as Vitamin A, it is a strong antioxidant in eliminating free radicals that cause premature aging.
Astaxanthin is considered a powerful natural source of Vitamin A. Astaxanthin helps to fight against aging, diminish fine lines and wrinkles, firm and tone the skin, protect the skin from pollution and damaging effects of free radicals and prevent development of photoaging.

It  is a powerful, fat-soluble antioxidant  that is many times more effective than Vitamin E, it increases skin moisture, moisture retention and elasticity. The skin becomes smoother, fine lines and wrinkles are reduced.  It also has natural UV blocking properties that help protect the skin from sun-related damage such as dark spots on the skin.
Carotenoids tend to be antioxidants and UV protectors.  It is this red pigment that gives the pink color to shrimp, krill, salmon, red trout, crabs, and lobsters, who eat the algae and then absorb the astaxanthin.
