Hydrolyzed silk protein is a natural protein obtained from natural silk noils (fibers, fibroin) from the cocoon of the silk worm (bombyx mori) has the ability to supply the hair with  keratin protein and thereby strengthen weakened hair, it also create a protective barrier around each hair strand that protects the hair from further damage. It penetrates the hair shaft  due to it’s Low molecular weight of 1500-2000 dalton, so that the hair gets moisturized and strengthened from within may treat hair loss and damage.  Improves the shine of the hair, adds to the elasticity of the hair to prevent breakage and helps the hair retain moisture for longer periods of time

Hydrolyzed silk protein is also great for skin, with anti aging, moisturization benefits, it is known for its high moisture binding capacities providing a protective barrier which helps rejuvenate damaged skin barrier.
