Description
N-Acetyl D-Glucosamine (NAG) is a compound found naturally in the human body, NAG is a precursor to hyaluronic acid, which helps soothe, reduce dryness, hydrates, and may reduce signs of aging.
It is used to maintain the skin’s barrier. Studies have shown that NAG can increase collagen production, increase the moisture content of the skin, increase the elasticity of the skin, increase exfoliation, and increase the speed of wound healing.
NAG has been shown to reduce hyperpigmentation and can be combined with niacinamide to further increase its ability to reduce hyperpigmentation.
Add at below 50°C
Recommended Usage Rate: 1 – 4%, up to 10%
