Description
Carbomer Carbopol® 940 polymer is a white powder, crosslinked polyacrylic acid polymer. It is an extremely efficient rheology modifier (a highly efficient thickener) capable of providing high viscosity and forms sparkling clear gels or hydro-alcoholic gels and creams.
Carbomer must be thoroughly mixed and hydrated. Neutralize by increasing the pH to >6.0, gives a gel structure.
Commonly used in gel-creams, hair gels, and other gels, lotions, creams.
