Description
Glycol Distearate is the diester of ethylene glycol and stearic acid. Provides good opacity and pearlizing properties in cleansing products making them white and glossy without reducing foaming properties. Can also be used as an emulsifier for creams, lotions, shampoos and liquid soaps.
INCI: Glycol Distearate
Usage rate: 0.5% – 2.5%
Formulating tip: Add to surfactant and heat to 70oC or until it melts while stirring gently.
