Reetha (Soapberry) Extract is extract obtained from Sapindus Mukurossi (Soapberry) fruits. Known for its use in Ayurvedic medicine, Reetha contains saponin, which is traditionally used in India for the preparation of natural hair cleansers. It mildly lathers and gives a silken texture to the hair. It promotes hair growth and balances excess oil in the scalp. Soapberry Extract is a natural soap ingredient with anti-oxidant activity. It has been used as a natural washing agent and soap, in shampoo  due to its cleansing properties and as a treatment for eczema and psoriasis.
