Description

Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate is a stable, water-soluble form one of the vitamin C derivatives and is more stable than vitamin C (L ascorbic acid). Sodium ascorbyl phosphate is made by combining ascorbic acid with a phosphate and a salt.

SAP  promotes the formation of dermal collagen. It neutralizes skin-damaging free radicals, evens skin tone by combating hyperpigmentation or dark spots, and has antimicrobial benefits. It has the ability to stimulate the production of collagen, the protein responsible for strong, youthful skin.
A 5% concentration was shown in a comparative study with the same amount of ascorbic acid to have equivalent wrinkle-smoothing and elasticity-increasing benefit to skin around the eyes.

Formulating Tip: SAP may discolor in formulations at a pH below 6, We suggest you use in pH 6.0 and above .
Add to cool down phase at below 45oC
