TEXAPON N70 or Sodium Laureth Sulfate (sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES) 70% is a highly concentrated anionic surfactant sodium lauryl ether sulphate which can be derived from coconut/natural fatty alcohols or produced synthetically
Used in formulating cleansers, Shampoo, Shower Gels, Foam Bath and liquid cleaner products.
Can be easily thickened with salt,
Produces a foaming/lathering effect, appears as a slightly hazy or clear solution in its raw state
Sodium laureth sulfate is NOT the same as sodium lauryl sulfate, which can indeed be irritating to skin. Sodium laureth sulfate is a bit milder on skin due its different chemical structure.
