Description
Polysorbate 80 is an emulsifying agent consisting of sorbitol, ethylene oxide & oleic acid (polyoxyethylene-80 sorbitan monooleate), oleic acid is derived from vegetable oil
Solubilize and stabilize essential or fragrance oils, and it can also be used as a co-emulsifier.
Acts as dispersing agent and anti-static thickener.
Polysorbate 80 can be used to solubilize or disperse carrier oils into solutions, and can also be added to oil cleansers to formulate oil to milk facial cleansing oil.
Formulating Tip: It is generally advisable to add more solubilizer than the oil you are trying to solubilize; a good stating point is 1:3, so for every 1ml oil, you add 3ml solubilizer
